King's Hotel

The corridors were filthy and packed with abandoned belongings, and they still charge 130 per night just for a bed. My room was awful, old, and badly deteriorated: the windows were broken, the shower was barely usable, the walls were peeling, and the furniture looked at least 30 years old. The air conditioning made such a horrible racket that I couldn't leave it running.

The owners were kind enough to pack breakfast for us, since there was no way we could eat it there. That's the only reason I'm giving two stars. The room was extremely dated, like it had been built in the '80s and then forgotten. Its CRT TV, with an external decoder, picked up only two channels, and the shower stall was broken. At least everything was very clean. Still, €70 for one night in that room was far too much.

We paid 100 euros a night, and it really wasn't worth it. The window looked out onto a roof, and the hotel is right by a road with very poor soundproofing. Inside, the walls were cracked and the bathroom looked 40 years old. Breakfast was awful: just sliced bread, not even fresh bread or rolls, and no yogurt, fruit, cheese, or anything else. Nobody spoke French or English. We tried to complain to the person on site but couldn't communicate. It's an old hotel with a serious lack of maintenance. Very disappointing, not recommended!

€122 for a run-down, neglected place, with a dump outside and everything left untidy. A complete disaster. Honestly, it's like Baghdad, and it's not even worth €40.
