The rooms were spacious, and I loved their retro decor. This lovely homestay sits right beneath the Sacrario di Oslavia, surrounded by the Collio vineyards, and it's less than a 10-minute drive from Gorizia city center. The biggest surprise was dinner: hand-cut raw ham, tagliatelle with delicious boar sauce and lamb cooked to order. Their own grappa di vinacce is recommended to finish the meal. Breakfast was generous too, and I especially enjoyed the delicious crostata. I only wish I'd had more time there and could have bought some wine, but my luggage was already over the limit. I know where to return next time!

Dinner, the stay and breakfast all made for a wonderful 10/10 experience. The place has beautiful interior design and details, with great views over the wine yards. The dinner was Michelin-quality, and everything from the food to the lodging seemed carefully thought through and well executed, with really great customer service. And the wines were spectacular.

The whole family helped make our stay unforgettable, and we enjoyed every moment. The service and hospitality were great. Our room was spotless and well maintained, with a vintage style. We also had a delicious dinner with local wines, then breakfast and coffee in the morning. The atmosphere was amazing and left us feeling calm. It was worth the money, and you can feel the difference.

The wine is delicious, organic, and clearly made with care, and the food is just as good. What really made the stay special, though, was how the family and staff treated us. From the warm welcome to all the attentive help, it felt like visiting friends instead of staying somewhere as a guest. The place is beautifully decorated, and this is easily one of the best places I’ve ever been. I’ll be back and will recommend it to my friends.

The wine was spectacular, and the food was so good we hadn’t even planned on having dinner there the second night. We stayed for two nights and ate there both evenings. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, and everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home.
