Hotel Miramonti

We came as a group of five and shared three dishes, then had espresso and water. Every dish was perfect, homemade, and made with fresh ingredients. The owner finished the meal by giving us a shot of homemade limoncello. The food is outstanding, the prices are reasonable for the portions, and the owner is very friendly. It felt like the real Italy and made for a five star experience. The route to the west coast isn't the best, so the highway may be easier, but this place is worth taking the longer way for.

I arrived knowing very little Italian, but Palo quickly made it clear I could get food, a drink, and a room for the night here. The food was amazing and the service couldn't have been better. He even offered a spot for my motorcycle in his garage. Breakfast was coffee and pastry, and I was treated like an old friend.

It's a lovely little spot tucked away in a remote part of the mountains, off the beaten track. The atmosphere feels warmly and authentically Italian, the people are welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant does fantastic pizza and pasta. Bring earplugs if the church bells happen to ring at night.

A hotel and restaurant that's friendly to bikers, with lovely food and a welcoming feel. High quality for a good price.
