Michelangelo B&B

Michelangelo is an incredible host, and his bed and breakfast is right in the heart of Lecce. We loved our stay, especially the beautiful suite, its comfortable bed, lovely decorations and all its history. It works perfectly for couples or families. Breakfast was 5-star, too. I can't wait to come back.

Michelangelo and Valentina were so thoughtful and friendly throughout our two-night stay. They picked us up at the station and made us a delicious breakfast with meat, cheese, bread, the best olive bread we had, and an omelette. The room was clean, well equipped and to a great standard. We really enjoyed the gorgeous balcony view. It was a wonderful experience, and we'd highly recommend staying here.

Michelangelo was a superb host. He directed us to the right parking near the B&B, picked us up as soon as we arrived, helped with our luggage, showed us the room and gave us restaurant advice. The place itself was outstanding, with excellent courtesy and service. After check-in he invited us on a two-hour guided tour around Lecce with Anna Palumbo, a professional tourist guide. She was knowledgeable, kind, sympathetic and helpful, and made the tour unforgettable. Thanks, Anna, we enjoyed it very much. Thanks also to Michelangelo for being such a great host. We'd return any time and strongly recommend Michelangelo B&B.

The apartment was spotless and well equipped, with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi, and a small courtyard with an outdoor shower. Inside, it has two adjoining rooms: one just inside the entrance with two single beds, and another with a king-size bed. There's also a cosy little dining area with a table and four chairs, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. It's a perfect stay in Lecce's historic center, and just two minutes from the tourist information point Infotab, where the landlords offer a guided tour.
