We spent Christmas in Gradara, and it was a wonderful setting for a romantic getaway. The village feels steeped in history, with its imposing walls and winding streets, and there are souvenir shops, local products, bars, and restaurants to enjoy by day. We stayed at DIMORA DELLA ROVERE, where Giovanna was a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind host who was there whenever we needed anything. Our room was spacious, spotless, and neatly arranged, with a lovely nighttime view of the guard's walkway. The shared area was welcoming and well supplied, too. There are excellent B&Bs here for an evening's stay, and we'd happily suggest visiting in any season and booking directly at DIMORA DELLA ROVERE.

The breakfast was generous, and our room was lovely, carefully decorated, and spotless. Giovanna, who runs B&B Dimora della Rovere, was very kind and ready to help with anything. Best of all, the B&B sits right inside Gradara Castle, just steps from the fortress. It's not every day you get to sleep within castle walls. Highly recommended!

Giovanna is so thoughtful and kind with her guests, and makes you feel right at home while looking after you better than a 5-star hotel. The B&B is beautiful, well cared for, and easy to reach. My husband has stayed here for 3 years, and we're sure to come back.

We wanted to stay inside the walls after visiting Gradara Castle because the atmosphere there is fabulous. I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the castle. We called B&B Dimora della Rovere, and they found just the right option for us. The welcome was warm, and we felt comfortable right away. Everything was just right: a comfortable room in excellent condition, an immaculate bathroom, and a hearty, generous breakfast the next morning. We couldn't have asked for more, and hope to return to this magnificent village.

Breakfast time is flexible if you arrange it with the lady. We settled on 8:30/9:00, and she made us a lovely sweet and savory breakfast right then. We had a friendly chat while she prepared it. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, and the bathroom and shower were comfortable and in perfect shape. Being inside the castle made for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The welcome, courtesy, and helpfulness are real strengths of the B&B. The value for money is good, though about average.
