Hotel Antares

We were there for just one night, and the welcome was lovely. The woman at reception came across as such a kind person, and the owner was a cool guy too. I’d definitely come back. Keep being cool 😎

You get what you pay for.

The setting beside the old town was especially lovely during Christmas, and we got a good, restful break even though we were there for only two days. The online request we made in advance for longer term parking was no problem, although the spaces themselves are tight and limited. Check-in was warm and helpful. The staff explained the room and the area, and the response to my booking inquiry had been satisfactory. The room met expectations and had a decent amount of space. The bed was the advertised large French double, with joined mattresses that felt comfortably firm rather than soft, plus one continuous duvet. The TV suited the room, though we didn't use it. I liked the balcony, especially the glimpse of the sea between buildings. You couldn't see the beach promenade from there. It had plastic chairs and a table, solid partitions and rails, and easy to clean tiled flooring. The bathroom and toilet had what we needed. The decor is dated, but everything worked and nothing was broken. Hotel Antares is recommended. Our brief visit was enjoyable and interesting, and left us relaxed.
