The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the location worked well. The free candies in the lobby were surprisingly tasty too. But I left tired, hot, and bothered. My tiny single room felt like a boat cabin or a jail cell, with nowhere to lay my suitcase flat. The bathroom was so cramped that my legs were squeezed under the sink when I used the toilet. The blinds covered only half the window, so there was no privacy, and sheer curtains didn't fix that. The air conditioning didn't work, leaving me to keep the balcony door open despite the significant street noise, and I was still uncomfortably hot. The decor and furnishings were extremely outdated, especially the worn green carpet running through the building.

We'll never go back. The rooms were cramped, the decor was old, and breakfast was poor. The beds were two very firm children's beds pushed together. Probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a nice place overall. My single room was so tiny it brought a London hotel to mind.
