Hotel Ville Bianchi

The location is perfect, and both the room and the staff were great. My dog was very welcome too. The breakfast was awesome! I don’t mind sleeping on the pedestrian area side, though some people might be bothered by the outside noise. So far, it’s been a very good place to stay, and I’ll come again :)

Monica was a gem, an absolutely lovely waitress. Unfortunately, the apartment was never cleaned during our 7-day stay, and the sheets were never changed. We were charged €7,50 a day for cleaning and sheets. We only got towels after asking to pick some up, and the used ones were left there. At checkout, they had to correct some wrong charges on the bill, which they did. Parking was charged per day as well. The apartment building entrance was flooded with 5 inches of water after a rain storm. I understand the weather, but someone from staff should have made a path through it. There are stairs everywhere, and nothing is accessible for people with disabilities, older people, wheelchairs, or strollers, which have to be carried. The half-round shower was so small my mom couldn’t use it. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was poor quality. The salmon appetizer had no taste, the main course sides were cold and bland, and the dessert seemed a few days old, dry, with stale chocolate. I was very disappointed, though Monica was extraordinary.

Bella Italia, with the sun and good vibes, just not at Ville Bianchi. At check-in, I heard staff tell another customer that they needed good reviews because some people only write bad ones, and that they disagreed with a guest’s negative review. Guests should be able to write what they feel and what they experienced at the property. The receptionist didn’t seem very smart, and spoke neither German nor English very well. We got a ground-floor room that looked about 15 years old. The route from reception to the room was lined with cars under plastic covers. If your car isn’t covered or you arrive at the right time, it’ll look like it does in the photo. It looks really bad. The room and minibar were horribly cool, and the property itself wasn’t clean. The AC is central, and you have to call to get it turned on or off. It’s a very old system and didn’t really shut off. They should invest in the AC and renovation. The best thing was the La Bottega amenities. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location was perfect, and the staff were wonderful. This was simply one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, an awesome hotel with absolutely nothing to complain about. We usually find something imperfect wherever we go, but here it felt heavenly. I don’t know the management, so I’m not saying this because of that. I’m just happy about the wonderful experience.
