Hotiday Lodge Grado

The pool didn’t feel relaxing as a hotel guest. Some of the staff seemed to be having their own Gen-Z pool party, with painfully loud music, and they took up the sun loungers themselves. At times it made us feel like we were in the way instead of welcome. The marina location is lovely in principle, but getting around was unnecessarily inconvenient. It took about 15 minutes on foot from our room to breakfast. They could have made things much more guest-friendly by serving breakfast in the café in the building.

I’d read lots of negative reviews, so I arrived pretty skeptical. Instead, I got a warm welcome even though it was late, around 10 PM, and the room was better than I expected. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. It may not have had the range you’d get at a big hotel, but it had everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I knew in advance that some things would be limited in winter. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I’d love to come back! 🙏🥰

We were there out of season and stayed in a suite with a spectacular view. The place was clean and comfortable, breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar staff were very friendly too!

We paid €345 for two people for two nights, expecting a room in what was meant to be a 4-star hotel. The bars by the pool and beach were one reason we booked, but things were quite different from what we expected. Our room faced the yacht harbor, though it had no balcony, which hadn’t been advertised anyway. This wasn’t really a hotel, but a building on a campsite. The bars belonged to the campsite and all shut at 6:30 pm, despite what had been stated. The “cute café” in the building where our room was had a lounge area; I’ve attached a video. It had the feel of a campsite, didn’t seem worth 4 stars, and was completely overpriced. Our room wasn’t cleaned during the stay.
