The pictures must be very old because the apartment doesn’t look like them at all. The bathroom smelled and had mold, the towels were stained, and the pool I chose the place for had no water in it. It was hard to find, in a part of Italy I’d call a ghetto, and there were no restaurants open for food. The town seemed to have more bars, mechanic shops, and meat stores than anything else.

The village is fairly isolated, with few restaurants, if any. It’s near Pompeii, but we didn’t use the pool because it cost far too much, €20 per person per day. Breakfast came in plastic packaging, so it wasn’t fresh. The kettle and dish sponge were dirty, and neither the shared kitchen nor the bathroom had windows. The owner didn’t speak English, though he was available. Also, cooking isn’t allowed in the accommodation.

The host was extremely kind and ready to help with any request. The place was well cared for, air-conditioned, functional, and spotlessly clean, so it works for any type of stay. Parking is available nearby. It’s a convenient base for getting to the surrounding Sorrento Peninsula, Amalfi, and Castellammare di Stabia. Highly recommended!

The hosts took care of every detail during our three-day stay, even though they don’t live there. They were kind the whole time. The simple breakfast was complete and plentiful, and they left juice, water, and sparkling water in the refrigerator for us. A thoughtful touch we really appreciated. The room was a good standard size, very clean, and had great lighting. The queen-size bed and mattress were simply sensational. It’s very close to the center of Gragnano, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby and quick, easy access. I’d happily return and highly recommend it, five stars.
