I spent four days at Casa Ingoglia and couldn’t fault the apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a fridge and cooker, and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s in a quiet spot at the end of the street, but only a five-minute walk from the main square, where there are cafés and restaurants. The hosts were easy to deal with, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I’d rate the place highly, recommend it to others, and say it offers excellent value for money.

The house is right in the middle of Sambuca, a great base for exploring the old town and its history. Palermo is about an hour's drive away, and the nearest beach is 20 minutes away. The town is what you're here to see, so we didn't miss having outdoor space, though be ready for plenty of steep hills. Inside, there's lots of room, a big kitchen, fridge, washing area, and a huge wardrobe, with everything we needed and more. We had a really pleasant stay and would happily come back. My only small gripe was how noisy the air conditioning was, but it wouldn't put me off booking again.

We were greeted warmly, and checkout was flexible. The price was very competitive, too. We stayed one night for a wedding at the Abbazia Santa Maria del Bosco and had a wonderful time. The place was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with a super-comfortable mattress, two large showers in separate bathrooms, very quiet air conditioning, and lovely skylights. Parking is right in front, and Sambuca's center is easy to reach. The Mother Church is a short walk uphill. We'll recommend it to friends!

Clean, beautiful place to stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd personally have preferred a slightly firmer mattress, but that's just my opinion.
