Getting there was tricky. Google Maps sent us on a long detour. The rental is close to the central square, where buses are easy to catch. Inside, the modern furnishings and colors make a nice first impression, though the bunk beds attached to the double bed make the rooms feel a bit cramped. Cleanliness was average. The host was friendly, but seemed a little aloof and basic. There’s a separate kitchen shared by all the apartments, though I’d describe it more as a refreshment area. I’d recommend it for a one-night stopover only.

The view was beautiful, the owner was kind, and there was parking in the driveway. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet the place was, since my expectations weren’t high. There’s also a shared kitchen where, if you can’t eat at a restaurant every evening like me, you can make coffee or prepare a light lunch. I booked because the price was reasonable compared with the exorbitant costs of the Amalfi Coast. It’s in the hills, about thirty kilometers from Sorrento. You’ll need a GPS, but it may guide you to the opposite side of the entrance road instead of the right spot. I recommend it.

The rooms were clean, and the outside looked nice too, though it was a shame about the rainy day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some details in the description didn’t match what we found: there was no kettle or coffee maker in the room. That’s not a big deal, but it had been listed. Breakfast let me down. There was plenty to choose from, but everything was packaged. From the other reviews I’d expected fresh cakes, biscuits or croissants, and cappuccino. There was none of that.

The owner was incredibly kind and patient, discreet but always available. We felt right at home in this quiet place. If you want a peaceful getaway, this is a good spot, and the wonderful sights of the Sorrento Peninsula are easy to reach from here.
