Bed and Breakfast Il Vicolo

The rooms are modern and well equipped, and there's parking in the courtyard. We spent four lovely days here, between Mount Etna, the Alcantara Gorge, and Taormina. It's a renovated family home that still feels true to its family values. Thank you, Madam, for the warm, genuine welcome, the smiles each morning, and those generous breakfasts with freshly made scrambled eggs and bacon.

It's hard to ask for more: the mountains are peaceful, the place is incredibly quiet and spotlessly clean, and there's a tasty breakfast, private parking, a hot tub, and a terrace. It's also more beautiful than my own home and well placed for the Alcantara Gorges, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Isola Bella, Letojanni, and Catania. The owner is exceptionally kind too. A well-deserved five stars!

The hostess asked what I needed for breakfast, then brought out far more than I expected in the morning, with sweet and savory choices and typical local products. The place was spotless, the welcome was warm, and the service was exceptional. It felt more like a five-star hotel than a B&B. My quiet room had a kettle and mini-fridge, and the bathroom had a whirlpool tub. I highly recommend it.

The lady was so welcoming and kind, always making sure we felt at home. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and everything was perfectly clean. Nothing to complain about.
