Winter Garden Hotel Bergamo Aeroporto

Everyone working at the hotel has been great, friendly and helpful. Luca the bar man especially made me feel at home and has become a friend, even though I’m here alone in a new place for the first time. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms are lovely, with a pleasing color scheme for longer stays and a huge shower. It’s right by the airport, and the hotel shuttle schedule makes getting there really easy.

The hotel is good, the rooms are really clean, and breakfast is decent. But the shuttle service is awful. You have to pay for it, and it doesn’t run at all times. Even though checkout is at 10:00, they don’t have room on the shuttle for every guest. If there’s no space, you have to call an Uber to the airport, which costs €50 for five people.

The staff are awesome, friendly, positive, and genuinely interested. The breakfast has plenty of options, the facilities are new and well maintained, and the shower is ideal. But for such a huge hotel with so many rooms, having only two elevators is ridiculous. Each lift takes at least 10 minutes because it arrives full and leaves full. Check-out is extremely slow too, with just one staff member handling so many guests. If you don’t mind losing time in the elevator and at check-in or check-out, you could consider staying here. If your time matters, pick another hotel.

Seven of us stayed here last night. The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff were really helpful and happy to accommodate our requests. There’s also an airport shuttle, which was excellent value.
