Domus Decclesiis

Really good bread.

That comfortable bed made it easy to rest after a day out, and the bathroom is roomy too. Domus D’Ecclesiis is set in a beautiful 19th-century villa, with original stone floors, vaulted ceilings, and exposed tuff walls that give it a distinctive, warm feel. My apartment was an elegant open-plan space with a kitchenette and tasteful natural wood furnishings. It was wonderfully quiet. The owners were welcoming, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. I’d recommend it for a relaxing stay with plenty of attention to detail.

The covered private parking was very convenient, and there’s a supermarket just a few steps away. It’s only a short trip to the city center, with lots to see. Gravina Sotterranea is well worth visiting, and so is the Cathedral, where you can go up the bell tower for a panoramic view across the city. The place itself was beautiful, welcoming, and carefully looked after, and breakfast had something for every taste.

Mrs. Manuela gave us a warm welcome. The room was lovely, clean, and neat, with a spacious bathroom and a nice shower. The romantic whirlpool tub was the real highlight. There’s a large courtyard for parking, and the remote for the electric gate means you can come and go whenever you like. The shared kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with things like milk, pastries, cookies, and jams.
