Novella 55

Breakfast is at a café in the square in the historic center, and the location is convenient, about 400 meters from there. Our room was cozy, clean, and nicely finished, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and even a child’s bed in the room I had. It’s a good middle ground between a hotel and a bed and breakfast. There’s no guest parking, though that seems like a lot to expect in a city like this. The room was on the second floor, so pack light. Recommended.

Breakfast isn’t served here, but there’s a well-stocked café just a three-minute walk away, with delicious cream-filled flaky croissants. The B&B is clean, new, and nicely furnished, and the renovation details really stood out to me, especially how the parquet meets the bathroom tiles and the glass divider between the bedroom and bathroom. The room had air conditioning and a comfortable mattress. There’s no elevator, which is the one downside. For a visit to Gravina in Puglia, it’s a great option for the price. Highly recommend.

Giampiero was very kind and helpful, even greeting us when we arrived in the middle of the night and helping carry our luggage. The rooms are spacious, clean, and really nice, and the B&B is conveniently located for the city center. It’s on the second floor and there’s no elevator. We’ll be back, it’s such a beautiful, welcoming place.

The breakfast bar service was excellent, and the staff at Novella 55 were professional and ready to help throughout our stay. The room was spotless, with fresh towels and daily service. Thanks to owner Felice and Mrs. Rachele, from Aurelio and Daniela.
