Hotel Etoile de Neige

We never went hungry or thirsty, and the food had a nice range of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Being able to buy our ski pass at the hotel and take their minibus to a local ski shop for equipment hire made things very convenient. The decor and furnishings are a little dated, but the location and easy access to the piste more than made up for it. We'd happily stay again on our next trip to Pila.

The staff made us feel welcome from the very first moment right through to the last, with warmth and hospitality that made the place feel almost like home. They all went the extra mile, from the reception team to the professional, pleasant dining room staff, and the American bar team, who served us with a smile and skillfully made excellent cocktails. The balcony view was breathtaking, and the location was a true ski-in, ski-out setup. Some other hotels use that phrase but still leave you a short walk; here, you put on your skis and head straight onto the snow to catch the lift. It was a TUI-organised ski week, and everything went smoothly. The hotel is three-star, very clean, and has what you need. Thanks so much, I hope to see you again soon!

The food was great and everyone was friendly. It’s right by the slopes, too. Not cheap, but the price felt fair.

The staff made this February trip with TUI such a lovely holiday. Daniela and the reception team, the kitchen and dining staff, and the cleaning team were all helpful, professional and welcoming. Pavel, his mum and Patrizia always had time for a smile and a chat. When our delayed flight got us there after 11pm, hungry and expecting no dinner, they’d set a table with appetizers and dessert for us. The food stayed excellent through the whole visit, with lots of variety. Our balcony looked out over the valley, and the hotel is right beside the Chamole chairlift in the Pila Snowland resort, which was incredibly convenient. It’s an older place, but very clean, warm and comfortable, with spacious rooms. We’d happily come back. Grazie a tutti!
