We came as a group of 11 and had a wonderful stay at Residence dei Walser. The surroundings are beautiful, and the shuttle to the valley station is quick and runs regularly. Luisa and her colleagues made the biggest difference, helping us with every question and problem and making the stay unforgettable. Many thanks, highly recommended.

We really appreciated how friendly and helpful the service was. When they found out I needed GF food, they did their best to accommodate me. They also asked whether we'd like to use the Spa and made sure it was ready, even though there were just two of us. The apartment's mezzanine beds have very little headroom, so I think the place suits a couple with two young children better. The stairs are very steep, which didn't feel very safe for a bathroom trip at night. Even so, I'd love to return and stay here again.

We came for three days of ski touring in Monterosa, and it was a really smooth, pleasant stay. The Wi-Fi worked great, and the free sauna is open from 16:30 to 20:00. I'd recommend it after a full day skiing. The free shuttle's first run to the lift is at 8:30 and the ride takes about 10 minutes round trip. It's a minivan, so if there's no room, enjoy the view while it comes back for you. The slope finishes right at the hotel. You can see the building as you ski the last 100-150 meters. On our final morning, we started hauling our luggage and gear out at 8:20, planning to load the car, check out, ski, then leave. The woman at reception said we could leave everything in the room, go skiing, maybe shower, and check out afterward. Such a cool surprise! For a winter ski day, the routine works well: get up and have breakfast, take the shuttle to the lift in five minutes, ski until the last lift at 16:15, then ski back toward the hotel. There's a small wooden sign marked "Walser" showing where to turn right. At the bottom, take off your skis, cross the road, and you're home. Leave the skis in the underground garage, then head to the sauna to relax. Highly recommended for skiing in winter.

Coming back to the hotel on skis is a real bonus. The piste is quiet since it isn't the main route back to Staffal. The rooms and facilities were excellent, especially the sauna, which is free. We found everyone very friendly and helpful from booking right through our stay and departure.

We had a lovely stay at the Walser, thanks in part to a host who couldn't have been more helpful. It's a beautiful area, with amazing scenic hikes available on both sides of the valley.
