Residence Dufour

I've been coming here to ski for years, and every visit adds to the love and memories I have of this place. Emanuela is wonderful, the staff are brilliant, and the food, bar, and rooms are all first class. The skiing is great too, with amazing walks and hikes for anyone who doesn't ski. It's just lovely.

We made lots of memories here. Such a fun place for a holiday, especially if you love skiing and snow. Thank you!

The hotel is in a convenient spot, near both the town center and the cableway up to the Punta Jolanda ski area. There's also a bus stop close by, handy for getting to the other villages in the valley. Though it's rated three stars, the comfortable, clean, spacious rooms and the well-furnished lounge and outdoor terrace could put it in four-star territory. The fourth-floor spa has a hydromassage pool, sauna, steam bath, and relaxing areas. It's wood-lined throughout, with a lovely mountain feel. There's a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner for half-board guests, and outside guests can eat there too. The service was excellent and the staff kind.

The food was brilliant, and they catered well for me as a vegan. There's also an extensive wine list and the staff are friendly. The rooms are basic, and it takes a while for the shower's hot water to come through. Still, being right next to Punta Jolanda is ideal.
