The indoor setting is basic but nice. The house wine was poor, the meat was deep-frozen, and the vegetables were expensive. One plate cost €16 and included courgettes that had expired. It felt like poor value in general. Maybe it’s fine for a quick bite outside in the sun, but that’s about it. Going for lunch was a mistake.

Gressoney is expensive compared with other places in Italy, and this restaurant’s prices are in line with the local standard. Still, the food seemed a little better than at other places in the area. My wife and I ate well enough. We had two Aosta soups, 750 ml of water, 375 ml of wine, two slices of cake, two espressos, and one grappa. Dinner came to around 50 euro.

A very good place for Valdostan cooking. I enjoyed the venison dishes and the vegetables. Give their "Bière des Alpes" a try.

We spent one night here. The rooms were clean, built in a traditional style with stone and wood. The restaurant was good, as was breakfast.

We came only for dinner. The place is simple and rustic, with a real feel of another time. The food tasted authentic. I’d recommend it for a quiet meal of traditional dishes.
