Roberta was a wonderful host, always around or reachable by phone. She sorted out any problems quickly and shared lots of local knowledge. The room was rustic but worked well for our extended stay, with a kitchenette, bathroom, dining table, big bed, and a large window. The pool was cleaned daily, and there were plenty of sun beds with a magnificent view. We spent many peaceful days listening to the birds and looking out at the scenery. The one thing that really bothered us was the closed track through the vineyard into Greve. We weren't told about it when we booked, and it meant a 40 euro taxi round trip for an evening out, or my husband had to drive. We weren’t happy, since we chose the place thinking we could walk into town. We were in Chianti, after all.

The spot is nice, but there’s nothing within walking distance, which is about what you’d expect at a winery. There’s no air conditioning, so I wouldn’t come in midsummer. Earthmoving equipment made noise all day, and the staff didn’t seem to care. I’d suggest they not rent the place while excavators are working all day. There are much better places around.

We’ve come back to the Agriturismo four times now. It feels like our Italian home away from home, a quiet place where we can actually relax on vacation. The sights aren’t too far if we want to go see them, but it’s just as nice to sit by the vineyard and read. Roberta is always so pleasant to deal with, and we love our chats. Hope to be back soon.

Roberta made our week here especially easy. She’s friendly, helpful, knows the area well, and shares accurate information. She even seemed to anticipate what we’d need. My wife and I loved the facility and service, easily a ten plus.
