B&B Casa Decimo

Giuseppe and Mariko-san were incredibly helpful, even when they didn’t have to be. We arrived late on our first day without any food. Giuseppe kindly translated the menu and ordered pizzas for us, and Mariko-san looked up the bus timetable so we’d be ready for Florence the next day. Giuseppe also set up a table with everything we needed and helped warm up our food. Their hospitality made our stay wonderful. This villa-style B&B has an east-facing garden where you can have breakfast or relax in the fresh air. Giuseppe and Mariko-san served a generous Italian-style breakfast each day, which we enjoyed in the garden in the sunshine or in the tidy, fully equipped kitchen when it rained. Our room was clean, cozy, well maintained, and everything worked, which felt especially good after a tiring day in the city. The location is close to the city center, about a 30 min bus ride away. We mostly visited Florence using the route map Giuseppe recommended. With a car, you can also explore more great views in Sienna, Pizza, etc. We felt at home here.

Giuseppe knows where to go and what to eat, and he was very helpful. Casa Decimo is well situated for a Tuscan experience, and we highly recommend it. Many thanks to Giuseppe and his family. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. We’ll have to return and see if Naomi can top this.

Mariko’s homemade cakes, muffins, and pies at breakfast were so good. The family were lovely hosts and even helped us figure out how to book bus tickets. Our room was spotless, and the location was beautiful. The house exceeded what we expected, and I’d happily stay there again ♥️

The little details at Casa Decimo really stood out, from the toiletries and kitchenware to the bedsheets and the way guests are looked after. Our room was roomy, clean, and well equipped, and breakfast brought plenty of homemade choices right to the table. Giuseppe and his family also shared local food tips and detailed ideas for sightseeing. It’s a peaceful spot in the countryside, about a 20-minute drive from Florence. We wanted to stay longer, but it was already booked, so I’d reserve early if your dates are open.
