Castello di Mugnana

I visited Castello di Mugnana in Chianti, Tuscany, and found it an unforgettable experience. Set among the rolling hills and green vineyards, this historic castle has charm and elegance throughout. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the spacious rooms had tasteful decor and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. It felt peaceful and made a great place to relax. The castle's medieval architecture is beautifully preserved, from the courtyards to the old stone passageways. They have modern comforts and amenities too, so it was easy to enjoy the historic feel without giving up comfort. We also went to nearby vineyards and tried the local wines, which paired beautifully with Tuscan food at the castle and in nearby villages. The countryside views are stunning, too. I give Castello di Mugnana five stars for the setting, its history and the hospitality. For a magical Tuscan escape, it's a must visit.

My son and his now wife spent New Year's Eve at this amazing place, where they organized their magical wedding. Giovanni, the owner and manager, was outstanding in the way he helped and looked after them, making it a wonderful experience.

My small wedding here was amazing, and Castello di Mugnana had room for all my guests. Everyone was thrilled with the venue, and the castle will always mean a lot to me. We did run into a few electrical problems, which you might expect in an old building, but they were sorted out promptly, so I have no complaints overall. Giovanni was incredibly helpful and understanding throughout the planning. Thank you, Giovanni, for all the work you put in and all the love you've given the place. It shows.

Our Italian-American wedding at the Castello di Mugnana was magical, and our guests loved being in the castle. Giovanni was great to work with, easy to reach and very accommodating and relaxed. Thanks for having us!
