The wine was excellent, but the service at the restaurant was really poor. Our food wasn't what we'd ordered, and after we asked for the dessert menu, nobody came back to take our order for another half hour. It felt like the service was especially bad because we were foreigners.

We ate there last week. My husband enjoyed his wild boar pasta, but the rabbit was awful. It tasted like very old meat, with lots of big bones and a nasty aftertaste. Rabbit is usually delicate and lovely, but this put me off it altogether. I think it may have been an old hare. Not nice.

This is about the restaurant, not the albergo. We had a great experience on the stylish terrace overlooking the main square. The food, presentation, wine list, and straightforward service all felt traditionally Tuscan. Really good all around.

Breakfast was delicious and generous, and sitting on the terrace overlooking the square made it even better. The hosts were warm and helpful, and the Albergo is right on the square, which is perfect. We'd definitely stay again.

I didn't stay at the hotel, just ate at the restaurant, and wow, it was amazing. I've been traveling around Italy for 2-3 weeks, and this was really something. I'm picky, but the ingredients tasted fresh, the atmosphere was gorgeous, and the service was wonderful. My toddler had a great time crawling under the table, sorry, that's real life. Everything I could ask for.
