Il Casello Country House

The views were breathtaking, and the staff and servers were so kind. When I had trouble getting to Florence, they went out of their way to help. They were also professional, polite, and welcoming, which meant a lot on my first trip to Italy. I'll always appreciate their kindness. Thank you!

Our room was really small, but it didn't bother us because there were so many spots outside to sit. The place was super quiet, with a lovely large pool and lots of places to relax outdoors. Breakfast had plenty of choices too, including freshly cooked eggs and coffee.

The setting was wonderfully rustic, with a refreshing pool for the hottest days, and the villa had enough modern comfort while keeping its Tuscan charm. Our room was clean and comfy, though it took a bit of a climb to reach. The bathroom felt fresh and up to date, and the small window view looked out over the valley and vineyards. Breakfast was a treat: cakes, tortes and pies baked by Maria, plus warm croissants, meats, fruit, yogurt, and a perfect cappuccino. The location worked so well for day trips, halfway between Siena and Florence. We had two rooms and another couple with us. The owner and host was the sweetest, most accommodating host we've ever had. She answered every question and request with a big smile and a sincere manner, and made us feel right at home. I wish we could've stayed a month. Brava Maria, her staff, and Davide!!!

We only got one night here, unfortunately, but felt at home almost as soon as we arrived. It's a cosy, tucked-away villa in panzano in chianti, made for relaxing, and the welcome was top notch. The views were just wow. The pool was clean and well maintained, and you can text the hosts to get drinks and nibbles served there. I loved the open kitchen in the morning, with fresh eggs. We'll definitely come back!
