The views were amazing, and the staff and restaurant were both great. Panzano is easy to reach on foot. You can also take the bus to Greve, rent bicycles there, and ride out to different wineries.

With a beautiful pool set among olive trees and an incredible view, this boutique hotel is a gem. It's in a breathtaking spot at the foot of Panzano in Chianti, ideal for a holiday in the heart of Chianti or for celebrating a wedding. Highly recommended. Ask for Lara, who's local and very knowledgeable, and can give you all the advice you need.

We made good use of the terrace and pool during our three night stay, and the rooms were nice. Breakfast service at the restaurant could be a little slow at times, though the views helped make up for it. We had a very good stay and I'd highly recommend it.

I stayed for two nights, and found the place pretty average. The young woman who checked us in was lovely and helpful. The room was small, with barely a window and a tiny bathroom. It was right by the stairs, and the sound insulation was nonexistent, so we could hear everyone in the early morning. We had dinner at the restaurant once. The food was okay, but other diners' noise spoiled what should have been a romantic evening. The American guests should lower their voices at dinner. This isn't conquered land, and a restaurant isn't a redneck festival. I can see why Florence has #yankeegohome written everywhere.
