The pool and lounging grounds were inviting, with wide views that looked beautiful both morning and evening. It’s a quiet, peaceful setting and a handy base for driving to nearby towns and villages. There’s also a park up the hill with a nice lunch option. The road in is rough and dusty. The apartment was large, with a fine kitchen and a gas stove that worked well. Utensils were very limited, and there were no spices, salt, or pepper. We didn’t use the oven. There’s also a B&B in the same building, which we didn’t take part in. We probably wouldn’t stay here again.

A nice couple runs this hilltop B&B, and Simonetta speaks good English. They offer cooking classes, and there are covered outdoor pavilions as well as ground-level apartments for anyone wanting more room. I’ve stayed three times since 2023 and expect to return because I like the area.

We had a warm, family-like stay, thanks to the wonderful owners. The rooms are large, and there’s a lovely yard with a great summer pool. Breakfast was good and tasty. Thank you so much, Simonetta and all the staf, for such a wonderful experience.

The cooking class was excellent. We had a great meal, and the setting was lovely. It felt relaxed and informal, and we learned a lot. Highly recommend it. The only drawback is that the road to the B&B can be tricky, though the signs and GPS do get you there.

Le Cetinelle felt like a little world of its own, peaceful and full of wonder. One night we saw fireflies for the first time in years, flickering through the dark like tiny sparks. The homemade wine and olive oil were wonderful, and the sunset view was breathtaking. Set in the Chianti hills amid nature and silence, the place made for an unforgettable stay. Simonetta and her husband were warm, attentive hosts from the start, and their care showed in the cozy rooms and all the small details. It was an experience that touched the heart, and we’ll definitely be back.
