La pietra del cabreo

We couldn't find a fault with our Junior Suite, which we were lucky to be upgraded to. It had gorgeous vineyard views and a relaxing terrace overlooking the pool. The food was beautifully presented, with plenty of options, and the wonderful staff looked after us so well. A special thank you to Michele and Matteo for making us feel welcome and right at home throughout our stay. My husband and I stayed at Pietra Del Cabreo last week, and it was one of the most beautiful hotel stays we've ever had. We'd definitely return and recommend anyone visiting the area check out this stunning hotel.

The peaceful surroundings made it so easy to relax, and the property itself is breathtaking. We loved the room, the amenities, the wine, and both the breakfast buffet and dinner. The front desk also sorted out a couple of wine tastings with rides, then arranged our airport transport after checkout. Great service all around.

The cooking class was a real highlight. I had a great time making pasta and sauce, then eating what we’d made at the restaurant that evening. The wine list was excellent and much more reasonably priced than I expected. The staff were attentive and kind throughout, always making sure we were comfortable. We also loved the setting, and the quiet helped us properly unwind. We arrived to an unexpected upgrade to a junior suite, which made a lovely first impression. The views were so beautiful they looked painted. We left feeling refreshed, and would happily come back.

The wine tasting venue the staff recommended may have been the best experience we had in Tuscany. It featured wines from different regions, including local Chianti production. Back at the property, the breakfast and chef were fabulous, and the staff were gracious, welcoming, and very helpful. We’re wine snobs from Northern California, and I’d say this is a must-stay in Tuscany. The place is stunning. Tuesday was Carbonara day, so I had it for lunch, and I think about it every day.
