The gardens are what I keep thinking about: cared-for grounds, bright flowers and open views across the Chianti hills made everything feel peaceful and almost dreamlike. The setting is breathtaking, and every corner seems considered. Corso dei Conti Corsini and Jacqueline Corsini bring a personal warmth and authenticity to Villa Le Barone. The staff were just as welcoming, kind and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was a daily highlight, fresh and thoughtful, with a view that made it hard to leave the table. Dinner was memorable too, with lovely regional dishes in a relaxed, intimate setting, especially for my birthday. This is a special, timeless place that stays with you after you leave.

Our apartment was a short walk from Panzano, about 100 yards off the property. It was very quiet and relaxing, with gorgeous views, a lovely pool and pleasant staff. The owners were on site and great. Tuscany at its best.

We’ve stayed at Villa Le Barone several times and loved it every visit. The villa and surrounding landscape are stunning, with spectacular Tuscan views and a charm that makes the place feel serene and quiet. This former family home and farm has been thoughtfully cared for so guests can feel at ease. Family heirlooms throughout the rooms and shared spaces add to its character. The owners are present and help everything run smoothly, while the staff are sweet and attentive to guests’ needs. The food is excellent, made with organically grown products from their own farm, including the meat. The chef makes fresh pasta, and even simple spaghetti with tomato sauce is a delight. The outdoor dining area is beautiful. I can’t recommend Villa Le Barone enough for a wonderful stay in the heart of Chianti.

As part of a Backroads tour, my husband and I got to stay at Villa Le Barone, a 16th century villa overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The room was clean, the food lovely and the staff great. I had fun wandering through the different rooms and winding staircases, taking in all the art and decor. We can see why people come back year after year.
