The owner and her son were lovely, and the garden was beautiful, with dogs, cats, and chickens around. The view from the pool is amazing, and the rustic room had a terrace facing it. Everything was very clean, with a handy little kitchen for cooking, plus a washing machine and hangers. Montefioralle, a beautiful medieval town, is within walking distance. It felt epic, I’d definitely recommend it 👌

Cecilia and Lucca were so kind and accommodating, and the peaceful setting and view are almost enough to bring you to tears 👌🏻 We were lucky to be invited to a family dinner. I think Lucca’s savory cake was the best I’ve ever eaten, like carbonara in cake form. The chicken and steak we got from the piazza were cooked over a wood fire at the Podere and were so tender they melted in my mouth. The wine was great too. We also tried a sample of the owner’s olive oil and bought some because we liked it so much. The air and water felt so fresh that my skin allergies from the UAE cleared up. The place was very well kept, even with what seemed like a one-person team, who looked like Al Pacino. We slept wonderfully, and the expansive artistic views of Toscana are hard to put into words. Now that I’m back in Dubai, all I can say is, take me back to italy, please! 😍💖🥰

We liked it so much that we stayed longer than planned. The hosts were very kind, checked that everything was all right, and offered great recommendations. We’ll definitely return!

The views of vineyards and old towns in the castle were gorgeous from every room, and the shared kitchen was kept tidy. Our room had a private bathroom and cute vintage furnishings. We hadn’t booked the whole apartment. Cicelia was the sweetest host I’ve ever met and made us feel genuinely welcome. She checked our arrival time beforehand and was there to greet us. Her son Luca helped carry our heavy luggage. Cicelia also offered a late check-out, which I imagine isn’t something she can usually do, so we could enjoy the morning view a little longer. She even came by to say goodbye in person. We’ll return to Cicelia’s place when we’re back in the area. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality, Cicelia!
