The location is great, but our room, Tino, was awful. The bed sagged in the middle, so we kept rolling toward each other and woke with back pain. There was a huge empty closet that smelled like dead animals, and the bathroom had a funky, possibly moldy smell. The room is in an old basement. Around 10 pm, another guest came into the room next door, and through the thin locked connecting door we could hear every word of an American woman and her friends or family looking around. They left, then she turned the TV up extremely loud. Knocking on the connecting door and eventually calling the hotel did nothing. At checkout we told the receptionist, who only said, "what a shame." I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We were nine people and had five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which worked out really well. Sharing the kitchen was easy, and we cooked lots of great meals to enjoy outside on the patio with its incredible scenery. My sister and I also took a short walk into town each morning for the cute shops and a cappuccino.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was refreshing, and the kids especially loved the ping-pong and foosball tables. Monica was so kind and friendly. We had a wonderful time, and the location was perfect.

We stayed in the Panorama suite with six people, and it was like having a clean 3-bedroom apartment, with a bathroom for each bedroom and a shared cooking area. The staff were helpful and friendly, and they'll do laundry for 5 euros. Shops, groceries, and restaurants are close by, and you can walk to Europe's oldest operating meat market. Montefioralle, a mountain town, is an hour's hike or a ten-minute drive away. Make a reservation at the winery with the same name. It was the best winery experience we had, and the town is beautiful. If you're going to Greve, stay here.
