We had a lovely stay with the kids, and the hosts were very accommodating when some local family came over for dinner. The apartments are fairly spacious, with basic, rural furnishings and good air conditioning, including a separate unit in each of our two rooms. There’s a huge garden for the children to run around in. It isn’t a proper pool, but they have a jacuzzi filled with cold water for splashing and cooling off. The area is very quiet and a bit out of the way, with Roselle nearby for dinner and the beach about a 30-minute drive away. Great value, and we’d return if we get the chance.

Our dog loved running around the huge garden, and we had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Giardini Di Varrone. The house is spacious and well equipped, set in a peaceful spot. Alfredo welcomed us warmly and was always available while giving us space. It’s secluded enough to unwind, but the main amenities are still within easy reach, about 15-20 minutes away. A really positive experience, highly recommended.

The family clearly takes loving care of the mini-apartments and the spaces around them. It’s a beautiful place in open countryside, though the area’s loveliest beaches are only a 15-20 minute drive away.

I stayed here in August 2021 and found the owners kind and helpful. The rooms were spotless, the garden beautiful and well looked after, and the prices reasonable. It’s a relaxing countryside setting that’s still close to amenities, and a great base for exploring the Maremma.

The outdoor jacuzzi is a lovely extra. The farmhouse is stylish but still very comfortable, surrounded by a beautiful garden and run by a lovely couple.
