The many bees and wasps, even in the pool, made it impossible to relax there. We stayed at this green, tree-surrounded farmhouse in a basic but cute apartment, furnished with antiques yet well equipped. We also brought our little dog, who’s very quiet, but some people complained that he barked excessively for hours. A shame he was only allowed three hours a day. I’ve yet to meet a dog that talks. Utilities are charged separately, based on meter readings taken before and after. I would have skipped this place.

The former horse stables were abandoned, and there was animal excrement that was treated as normal for an organic farm. Our accommodation wasn’t very clean, and the owner didn’t seem willing to discuss things. It’s a shame, because the spacious farmhouse has lots of greenery and a lovely pool area, with real potential as a vacation spot if it were cleaned and renovated. The website also mentions excursions and horseback riding, but those aren’t actually offered.

We’ve just got back. The location is quiet and lovely, with plenty of greenery, but the place itself is poorly kept. The houses were old and dirty, and the old kitchen items were dirty too. I spent two hours cleaning. The pool was dirty and full of bees. Electricity was charged separately, the grills were old, and the fridge was rusty. They supplied towels but didn’t change them once in seven days. I won’t return.

The pool area was really nice, but much of the rest felt neglected, including the area where horses may have been. The house itself was dirty, with cobwebs, greasy dishes, scratched pots and pans, and no detergent or sponges. The velvet sofa had no cover. The barbecue grate was rusty, so we bought one ourselves, and we had to buy charcoal too because none was provided. It’s a very nice place, but the state of the house was a shame.
