The room had everything I needed, and they left us two bottles of wine 😁. I’d come back, but I’d be clear about the stairs when booking. At 72, climbing all those steps was a bit unsettling, especially in the dark. Some sections have no handrail, and the ground is very uneven. The patio was lovely, though a large dome in view occasionally made noises like fireworks. One evening my car gave me trouble. The man who answered the main number was abrupt and told me to call elsewhere. I tried two other numbers without getting an answer until the next day. Luckily, I sorted out the car myself. Falls are the leading cause of injuries among older people, so those steps were a real concern for me.

The pool was clean, and they provided towels and other amenities. This Airbnb felt more like staying at a fancy hotel. Excellent experience.

So beautiful, and really comfortable too.

The price is hard to justify for a loft that’s uncomfortable and awkward to reach. It’s an old apartment with no mosquito screens or air conditioning, cracked flooring, a drain that doesn’t work properly, a very worn mattress, and a water heater that doesn’t work. There’s more I could list. The pool is a long way off, and the road leading there is in poor shape. Yet they charge rates comparable to a four- or five-star hotel. I rarely write reviews, but this was terrible value.

Frascati has a peaceful feel and some great cafes. Definitely worth a visit.
