B&B Miccoli

I’ve always tried to be kind and give others’ work a chance, but this place was inadequate in every way. It was a bad experience. The building is run-down and falls short of what I’d expect from a B&B. The room felt old and cold, the bathroom was cramped with no window, and the air conditioning was loud without doing much. I agree with another guest’s very strange positive review, which seemed biased.

The furnishings were shabby, dated, and damaged, and the air conditioning was old and noisy. In the windowless bathroom, the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up because the space was so tight; the plastic fixtures had yellowed with age. The place doesn’t meet even the basic requirements for a hotel. The reviews that led us here seem suspicious. I’ve written dozens and dozens of reviews and usually avoid negative ones, but I leave one when I see signs of bad faith. This feels like a tourist trap. Be careful and avoid it.

The rooms are upstairs from a family-run bar, so “Bed & Bar” might fit better than Bed & Breakfast. That arrangement suits me as a late riser, since breakfast has no fixed time and I could come down as late as 11:30. The rooms are simple, but very clean and dry, which I appreciated given how humid I’ve found the area. The beds were comfortable too. Mr. Ciro, his son, and his wife made me feel at home and did all they could to help during my stay. Thanks for everything, I hope to see you again soon!

The room was clean and had every comfort, and the owners were extremely kind. A very positive stay.
