Sogni d'Oro

The terraces open onto wonderful views, and you’re just a few steps from the old town and ceramics district. The owner was very helpful, too.

We stayed for two nights, and I wouldn’t give this place even one star. There was no service, no courtesy, and no cleanliness. They didn’t replace the towels or tidy the room or beds. Breakfast cost 10 euros per person at a nearby bar, and that was just a coffee and/or cappuccino with a croissant. Anything extra cost more. Payment was cash only, no card machine. I’d avoid this place.

A lovely place to stay. The room was comfortable, and the staff were very kind.

We were left waiting outside in the sun for several minutes when we arrived, then met with clear rudeness. The place is in a good location and has potential, but it needs owners who know how to manage it and show basic kindness and hospitality. The bathroom was barely clean, with hair in the closet and shower. There was just one roll of toilet paper for four of us, and it ran out at 1:30 AM. The shower towels were barely bigger than face towels. It was completely dark outside the property, so dark that my daughter fell down the stairs, with my almost 80-year-old parents there too. The website says pets are allowed at no extra cost, but Mr. Mario first told us they weren’t welcome, then took that back and demanded an extra charge in cash. Look elsewhere, there are much better places.
