Vacanza alla Chiesa Diruta

Those little provisions made the stay feel like home: there was pasta for a last-minute dinner, plus milk, yogurt, biscuits, and pastries for breakfast. Donato and Donata greeted us when we arrived and were both so friendly and helpful. The apartment is small, recently renovated, and spread over two floors in Grottole's historic center, with every comfort. Donata was always quick to answer our messages. I really couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The owners were kind and helpful, which really adds to the welcome. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished, with modern air conditioning. It's a charming place right in the historic center, near the ruined historic church. I highly recommend it.

The owners were very kind and polite, and the property in the town's historic center has clearly been renovated. It could have deserved at least four stars. But it's connected to another apartment run by the same management, with only a locked bedroom door between them. Since that bedroom backs onto the other apartment's kitchen, you can hear everything, including conversations and other unwanted noise. It's absurd to have to listen to all of that.

The view from the entrance was priceless, with the Ruined Church standing right nearby. We stayed in an old house in the historic center that had been renovated with real care for its historic character. The hygiene was impeccable.
