The accommodation is simple and has a distinctly Italian feel. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s comfortable and local in style, with a well-equipped bathroom. If you’re happy to adapt to that, I can see why it gets this rating. The restaurant is a must. It opens a few days each week, from Wednesday through the weekend. For €30 per person, you get an incredible antipasto buffet, then two pasta dishes to try, two kinds of meat, and dessert. Absolutely delicious.

Breakfast was delightful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely views. The pool was refreshing, while the grounds made it easy to relax. The staff were gracious and warm, always ready to help. A little taste of heaven.

The recently renovated rooms were lovely, and the reception and restaurant team were very kind. Breakfast was great too. Giorgione’s team, including the famous TV chef, put together fantastic meals in beautiful surroundings.
