Apartment Nonna Delia

I wasn't able to stay because of personal reasons, but Stefano was incredibly understanding and helpful. He worked around what I needed and what the whole group needed, too. I really hope I get the chance to stay with him another time. Highly recommend him!

I arrived early while walking the Silent Villages Trail, and the person who was meant to let me in still came over at short notice. The owner was very kind and helpful. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay, and Guardea is such a lovely village.

Guardea makes a handy base for the nearby villages and is also a stop on the "Cammino dei Borghi" (Walk of the Villages). It's a small town with everything from a supermarket to some excellent household goods. The apartment itself is compact, comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and independent heating. A few extra kitchen knives, including one for bread, and some smaller plates would be useful, though those are minor details. Otherwise, it was excellent.

From Guardea, you can walk up to the castle and the ruins of Guardea Vecchia, and the hilltop village has lovely panoramic views. It's quiet and sits around 300 meters above sea level, making it a good base for visiting points of interest nearby. The apartment was lovely, new, clean, and fully equipped. Stefano was very kind. We'd choose this place again if we come back to the area.
