The rooms are great and the food is amazing. There are beautiful views all around the hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, though they don’t speak English and only understand some.

The food was great, and I could bring my well-behaved, spayed female dog with me to breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant. Dogs are welcome here, and everyone was very nice. Just be aware that two lovely, unneutered male dogs roam around off lead. If your dog might have an issue with that, arrange your stay with Le Coccole. It’s beautiful around here, and I highly recommend it.

I’ve stayed here twice and haven’t been disappointed. The views are amazing, and it’s close to a WWF park and a ski hill. If you’re after a quiet break in nature with authentic local food, this is the place.

We found Le Coccole in Guardiaregia, a small town high in the Molise hills that could easily be missed. From the front terrace, the green hillside scenery is wonderful. The menu leans toward meat, as you’d expect at an agriturismo, but they suggested vegetarian dishes without any fuss. We shared cheese and vegetable antipasti, plus bruschette with caciocavallo, a local specialty. The pasta with asparagus sauce was delicious. I still had room for panna cotta with berry sauce, which disappeared before I could take a photo. A lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon.

A lovely little place tucked into the mountains, with clean, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. I’ll definitely come back ❤️
