B&B Valle 5°

Those ostriches watching us with curiosity and a bit of suspicion made me feel bad about eating their relatives. We went with colleagues to give ostrich a try, but the first sliced meat tasted good at first and then left an aftertaste I wasn't keen on. Guess I'll go another thirty years without ostrich 🤭. The appetizer cured meats, though, were very good and had an old-fashioned flavor. The fried-food smell was a bit too strong.

The first courses were fantastic, and the ostrich mains were delicious. Everything was clean, the welcome was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Recommended!

We'd happily come back. The prices were great, and the staff were so friendly and always ready to help. The cooking was excellent, with traditional dishes alongside ostrich, which was tender and tasty. Recommended.

The countryside setting is the real pleasure here, with quiet all around. Agriturismo Valle 5 Guastalla is about a 15-minute drive from places of worship like the Collegiate Church of Santo Stefano. Our four-legged friends are welcome, and there's free WI-FI, room service, and the chance to do sports in your free time. The food is truly excellent, with traditional dishes as well as tender ostrich meat. The staff are very kind and always ready to help. Their desserts are delicious too, especially their Casaro cake. Prices are more than fair for what's offered. I don't think it gets better than this.
