Villa Benveduti

The setting is beautiful, and we ate so well, especially the amazing braised beef ravioli. Still, I can’t give it more than three stars. At the end of our wedding dinner, half the guests were over seventy, yet the dessert buffet was spread across separate rooms. That left other guests going back and forth to serve the older people. The staff were kind and helpful, but the buffet itself got pretty messy: portions were tossed onto plates for people crowded around the table, leaving shapeless, unappealing heaps of sweets. If the bride isn’t handling this, the event organizers really need to. It makes a big difference. The place itself is truly beautiful.

We had a business dinner here. The food was excellent, and the staff were attentive and knew their stuff. The restored villa is surrounded by greenery just a short distance from Gubbio. Its many rooms give it a quiet, welcoming feel, with frescoes throughout.

A few kilometers from Gubbio, Villa Benveduti was once the summer home of the noble Benveduti family. It’s an elegant late-18th-century villa, now beautifully restored and surrounded by the lush Eugubine countryside. The rooms, with their original frescoes and stucco, are lovely, and the park around the property has a special atmosphere.

As wedding photographers, we highly recommend this stunning spot as a fairytale setting. The rooms are gorgeous, with frescoes and fine decoration, and the outdoor park makes the whole property even more beautiful.
