The food is prepared to suit you, and the quality is very high. It’s a family business run by three generations.

They’ve been here for more than 50 years under the same owners, and there’s probably a good reason for that. The food is excellent, though eating this well does come at a price. It’s a shame Guiglia isn’t the tourist draw it used to be.

The owners are wonderfully kind, attentive, and know their stuff. When I ran into a problem during the Camino de la Union, they immediately helped me sort it out. The hotel is clean and uses organic products, and it’s right in the center of Guiglia, just a short walk from the castle. Truly exceptional.
