We’ve stayed here twice now, each time for a week, and we’re already keen to return. It’s a lovely spot for long walks by the lake or up through the forest, with trees and plants all around and beautiful views of the mountains and water. Francesca at reception and Maicol the handyman were especially kind and welcoming, and helped make both stays memorable.

The balcony view was amazing, and our room had everything we needed with plenty of space. Reception welcomed us warmly and showed us to the room, only a few metres away. My one complaint is the mattress, which was so hard that it interrupted our sleep. There’s also a charming village nearby with a traditional Italian corner shop, butcher, bakery and cafés.

Crone is an easy walk away, and we really liked the village. It has everything you need, while Lake Idro and its pebble beaches are close by too. We stayed in a lovely apartment with a terrace, little garden and parking. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the whole area felt peaceful, a nice place to unwind.

The pool was the only thing I liked.
