Agriturismo Sa Rocca

The breakfast was generous and delicious, and dinner was full of traditional Sardinian dishes made with excellent ingredients. The staff were really friendly, too. The agriturismo sits among green hills in the inland area near Masua, with roomy, comfortable rooms. It's also pet-friendly, which we appreciated. A good place to rest if you're walking the Santa Barbara trail before continuing toward the Masua stage.

After a long day at the beach, we couldn't flush the toilet or shower because there was no running water. This went on for two days, and with two children it was a nightmare. There was no water at the hotel for two days, so be warned. If you expect basic comfort or support, avoid this place.

After the second stage of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara, we found a beautiful room with mountain views from the balcony and a really warm welcome. The four-course dinner was stunning, all typical Sardinian food, and I couldn't pick a favourite because it was all so good. Breakfast had a tasty range of local produce, too. The staff took great care of us and even arranged a lunch packet and water for our next hiking stage without any trouble. They made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for such a lovely time!

It was quiet out in the countryside, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, too. We had a bit of a wait when the card connection was down, even though the website said cards were accepted, but they sorted it out. There was no phone network, which didn't bother us, though it might bother someone else.
