The complex is wonderful, peaceful and has breathtaking views. You can walk from the village to a few scenic viewpoints, and there’s a great restaurant and fantastic pool. Some websites say you can reach a small beach from the village, but that’s not true. A landslide blocked the entrance in 2020, and it can’t be accessed. You need a car to get around and visit the area’s stunning beaches.

Tanca Piras Villaggio in Nebida is a purpose-built complex of good quality, with apartments and houses available as holiday rentals. Across its six hectares of landscaped grounds, there’s a pool, bar, restaurant and panoramic walking paths leading to a small private cove. It works well as a base for touring, or for simply relaxing by the pool. Nebida has a few small supermarkets that stock most essentials, along with a good choice of bars and restaurants. There are plenty of beaches nearby, some within walking distance, and others just a 10-minute drive away. Some of the best beaches in Europe are close by. Iglesias is a 15-minute drive away, with large supermarkets, banks, open markets, lots of bars and restaurants, and festivals throughout the year. From Cagliari airport, the drive to Tanca Piras takes an hour. You can also take the train from Cagliari to Iglesias.

Great views and a peaceful setting at this nice complex, close to beaches and mining sites. The pool was still closed, which was the one drawback.
