Hotel Ariston made our stay in Imperia so enjoyable. Luca and his team were welcoming, and the hotel is tucked into the narrow streets of Porto Maurizio. We had a clean, reasonably spacious room for the week, with a cozy balcony looking out over the Italian riviera. Breakfast was good, with a great range of food and wonderful coffee. It’s ideally placed for a nice stay, with beaches, public and private beach clubs, the Old Town, and good restaurants all a short walk away. We had a rental car, which they parked for us in the backyard. The streets are narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend a huge car, but that’s part of the Italian charm. Our small-sized estate made it there without trouble. Thanks for making the visit such a great one. See you next time :)

Whenever I’m in Imperia, I stay at Hotel Ariston, and it never lets me down. The rooms are spotless, the bathrooms have been newly refurbished, and breakfast is always delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. It’s perfectly located, just a short walk from the beach and lots of great restaurants. Can’t recommend it enough!

Getting here by car was a real hassle. You have to pass through the pedestrian zone with police cameras, and it gets difficult with a larger car. The hotel keeps your car keys, and you have to ask for them whenever you want to leave. They also take your room key. The rooms need better cleaning, and the staff came across as unprofessional. The owner kept telling people he was the owner for some reason. If you're a minority, be careful, I felt you might be treated badly.

The room was spotless, and we appreciated the free minibar. Breakfast was lovely, too. My boyfriend and I had a really nice weekend here, and the staff were so friendly and helpful when we needed to work out how to catch a train back to the airport. I'd happily stay again.

A handy base for seeing the beach and the centre of Imperia, with friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast featuring homemade treats. The coffee urn wasn't great, so take them up on the offer of coffee. In early May, the room was 95 for one night, plus 15 euro for parking and 30 euro for breakfast for two. Maybe that's supply and demand, but it did feel a bit expensive.
