We had a great week at Casetta Iacono, though I wish we’d stayed longer. Francesco, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful. The house was functional and very clean, with all the comforts, including air conditioning and a TV. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the center of Ischia Ponte and the Aragonese Castle. There’s ample free municipal parking a few hundred meters away, a supermarket nearby, and the bus stop practically outside the house. Highly recommended! Giacomo and Laura.

That driveway can get a little unpleasant: quiet neighborhood dogs sometimes leave poop outside in the yard. It’s not the hosts’ fault, though, and it didn’t spoil a great stay at Casetta Iacono. The place was spotless, and Francesca did a professional, courteous job cleaning. Mr. Francesco was kind, serious, and always ready to help. The location made things easy, with a bus stop right across the road, supermarkets and free public parking just a few meters away, and Ischia Porto’s nightlife only minutes from the house. Inside, there was everything we needed, even a power strip. There are two bathrooms, one smaller guest bathroom and a larger one upstairs on the mezzanine with a hot tub. We had a perfect time and will definitely come back.

The owners are happy to share advice about the island’s culture, food, and wine, which helped us get a feel for local life. Casetta Iacono is also well located, and the interior layout made our stay comfortable. I’d recommend it.
