Giardino Eden

We stayed at the end of April and basically had the beach club to ourselves. The staff were very attentive, breakfast was incredible, and it was lovely to eat with a view of the castle. Our room was cozy and clean, with another killer view. Highly recommend the hotel. The restaurant is pricey, as others have mentioned. We splurged on one lunch, 95€ for two pastas and non-alcoholic drinks, then ate our other meals in Ischia Ponte, about a 30-minute walk away. It has plenty of charming options at half the price.

We had one of our best weekends here and will definitely return. The place keeps up the heritage of Mr Ugo Germani, who created it, and that’s great to see. The whole Giardino Eden team was cheerful, kind, helpful, and spoke great English from the moment we arrived by boat. The food was excellent at every time of day, from breakfast to the beachclub menu and dinner. Our room had everything we needed and a great seaview, and even the playlist was spot on. The hospitality was at its best, it felt a bit like being in “White lotus”.

The beach club is lovely and has a great vibe, and the drinks and pastries were good. I’d come for the beach and drinks if your hotel doesn’t have a beach of its own, but keep in mind it’s pricey. Even with an entry ticket, the snack bar isn’t reasonably priced. The food costs a lot and isn’t especially good, so it doesn’t feel worth what you pay. Service was okay, though at a luxury beach club I’d expect fresh dry towels now and then, instead of just one per person for the whole day.

The decor and location are jaw-dropping, nothing like you’d imagine, and both the food and service were wonderful. The staff are attentive and the service really is 5 star. People who complain about the prices should find an Olive Garden. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the price comes with it.
