Grand Hotel Il Moresco & Spa

The pools and thermal spas were great, and we can’t wait to return. Thanks to the friendly, helpful staff for a lovely stay. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and had very comfortable beds. Some booking-site pictures might make the decor look dated, but that’s far from the reality. It all just works.

The grounds are immaculate, with flowers everywhere and hand-painted tiles. Our room stayed cool and quiet, just right for a hot summer holiday. The hotel is in a great spot, steps from its own little beach club, close to the promenade’s restaurants and gorgeous Corso Vittorio Colonna with all its shops, and within walking distance of the castle. Breakfast was great, they arranged transport to and from the port on their own shuttle, and use of the spa whirlpools was complimentary. I’ve stayed in some incredible suites while travelling, but this is probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve experienced. A 5 star stay, highly recommended.

Loved our stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are great. The hotel has traditional, old-fashioned Italian decor, including hand-painted tiles on the room floors. There’s live piano at the bar in the evening, a very nice beach club, and excellent food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The heated pool was a huge plus for me. I only wish there’d been an iron or steamer for clothes, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

We’re already planning to come back. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, and the pool, beach area, evening piano and bar, and breakfast were all lovely. The location made it easy to reach the main shopping area and restaurants. What really made the stay, though, was how cheerful and attentive everyone was, from housekeeping and the front desk to the pool, beach club, bar, restaurant, shuttle, and spa teams. The service went well beyond what we expected.
